iPhone Case fit Controller?

For those who have their mavic, i'm wondering whether or not i will need to take my iPhone case off every time I fly? How much does the lighting cable male end stick out?

If the listed specs on that case are correct and it's really 0.5 inches thick, it will not fit in the Mavic remote controller. The remote controller can only hold a device that is 0.25-0.33 inches thick.

You know, That is too bad they did not make the controller accept a phone with a slim case on it. Taking the phone out of it's case every time you want to fly is a real PITA.

Agreed. Here's to hoping DJI makes the remote controller arms wider in the next version.
