Is my camera soft?

I am wondering if my camera is soft. At the link below there is a quickly graded still from a video file (the ocean one):

Specs:
2.7K / 25 FPS
Shutter: 50
Filter: ND16 (Taco-RC)
Profile: -1 0 0 / D-cinelike

Also a still straight out of the camera no filters and everything set to none

It's hard to say from just one grab.
It does show that mushy noise-reduced look most obvious in the trees.
Not 100% sure it's in focus.
At that shutter speed you will see some smoothing.

That's what I thought as well. I am just wondering if the mushy trees are what should be expected from this camera? I have uploaded 2 more images below. The first image is a still straight out of camera. The second is with a grade and sharpening applied.

I always tap to focus, but am getting the feeling the camera might focus on the wrong thing.

Thoughts?

Have you got the latest app with constant auto focusing?
Some are finding it very helpful probably worth trying.

I do have that app. Where it keeps on autofocussing randomly right?

I always tap to focus.

I am just a bit confused. The greens do look super mushy to me even on the last example. Not sure if this is normal? I know it compresses a lot.

I think your camera is great in that pic. I wouldn't worry. Mine had been sharp but started to act up focusing on Friday out of the blue. I believe a firmware issue introduced the problem. I am waiting for better weather to test the update outdoors.
