It isn't showing the flight path

Hello everyone;
First of all my english is not very good sorry for that.
I am new to this forum and drone piloting. I bought mavic air 2 last week and used it a few times. I am thinking of using my PhD thesis if I can succeed.
My problem is that I can convert my flight history to kml file and view it online but does not instantly show where I was flying from during flight? Is this normal? if it is not how can I turn this feature on. If the mavic air 2 can't do this how can I get it?

You should be able to see the location of the drone in real time in the map box at the lower left corner of the APP screen. The map box can be expanded to cover the entire screen. The phone must have internet connection for downloading the map prior to or during the flight.
