Hi there.

I've been trying to mount a very small video shoot down in Durdle door Dorset. My first pro job. Me the PfCO holder, a spotter and the subject.
Lulworth estate in Dorset, own and operate the land in and around Durdle Door charge £2500 + VAT for any film application. And that is subject to approval.

I have no budget for that or at all really.

We are trying now around Beachy Head, Eastborne area and National trust operate that land.
Drones are essentially banned from flying over National Trust land.

However there is a licence for those with a PfCO and insurance like myself. And lots of electronic admin and of course fees, but I think it might be case by case. Someone has passed on my email to the relevant central film office.

Does anyone have experience of trying to fly in these ares with permission?

I'm really tearing my hair out.

Cheers - Aengus!
