Well I've only had it a month and joined the forum yesterday. Today while taking off I was hovering and had to stop for a second. I absently pulled the right stick and it came at the front porch and hit the railing. Bounced off the railing and hit me in the leg - wow that hurt! Now it says gimbal motor overload and an IMU calibration didn't help. I'll send it back for repair but I was wondering how the warranty works. In case it's going to be covered, is there something we're supposed to fill out and send in when it's new, or do I include a copy of the receipt when I return it? Thanks

If you are looking to make a refresh claim (ie spend 79 for replacement) you may want to request refresh "express". There is an option on the website but can be a little tricky to find. If chosen they will send you a new drone upon receiving yours. I had a two day turnaround.

Thank you. I've decided to have Thunderdrones repair the Mavic. I'm fairly certain I took out the ribbon cable.
