My understanding is you need to latest firmware update to unlock GEO Zones. I successfully unlocked a GEO ZONE, however still can't launch the drone

You can find the latest updates in the release notes on the Mavic Air downloads page. Per the usual, the latest updates are always recommended (but not required).

DJI GEO zones were unlockable for quite some time now. Perhaps you're thinking of the Mavic Mini?

How do you unlock a GEO Zone?

I used to go to DJI UNLOCK PAGE and choose the CUTOM UNLOCK mode asking them 1 or 2 months period to fly freely in the zone I asked.

Thanks mate.
The other day i tried to update and there was an aircraft update but would not let me update because of less than 50% battery level.

So i charged the battery and redid the update only to find out there was no update to make.

Does this sound ok?
