Sorry if this has been asked before but is it ok to continually leave batteries on the charger so they are always ready to go? I just don't want to damage or shorten their life.

That won't work. If you leave them on the charger they will still start to self discharge to 96% 24 hours after hitting full, and to 60% after 5 days.

Its bad for battery health to stay at 100% for a long extended time, so DJI has programmed the batteries to avoid that.

It's best to charge these types of batteries right before you want to use them (as in hours, not minutes); just don't charge/use when "hot" (if possible).
