Background

1. Set the mission using desktop litchi hub (Brilliant)
The location in the park has various ground levels
the 1st waypoint is 38 mtrs and each way point has been set according to ideal mission and auto set at from ground level by the desktop

2. on arrival take set up on a nearby rooftop to watch the mission
the rooftop height is not known best guess is 40 mtrs

Question 1.
how to establish the height of the launch / home point ?
fly down to the ground and calculate the distance, land and fly back up?
or is there some apps that can help

the IOS pdf manual in litchi site page 27 explains the batch tool elements for
Current and Ground
but the app has three (3) options, the extra being Home

Question 2:
starting the mission from launch/home point 40m will auto apply what height to waypoint 1
it will be 38m + 40m homepoint/launch point

how to force the app to accept the existing values and disregard the homepoint height which is being used purely to monitor the mission

Use the batch editor to change waypoints to relative to the ground - not launch point.

Thanks @Brojon we tried it immediately after creating post without success
Changing to relative ground at 0 height changed all waypoints to 0.

The solution seems to be that if u want to keep the existing heights you must launch from that height or enter a height difference value from home point or current height and either is not know unless you know the current altitude from ground.
