This link was posted by another member the other day, and I just referred to it on another thread . . . it really deserves its own thread, as lithium batteries can be dangerous.
This is written in regards to air travel, particularly how to deal with a fire incident on a plane, but easily adaptable to home or other.

There is a pdf download of the doc on the top of that page, very good to download / save to your computer or phone for later refresher.

You're welcome, it is a very good read.
Was hoping some might share more here too, but there is a fair bit of info on other threads, though not in one place.

Here is a video posted on the forum elsewhere the other day . . . in a drone shop, a battery on charge in the work area . . .

Another deliberate overcharging to show how this causes a fire . . .

And a bit of after event humour, with another drone shop charging fire . . . 1:30 - 2:45 is the main part without the frivolity . . .

If any of those drone shops had a good lipo fire policy in place, a halon extinguisher would have been close to the workstation area and crew would have had a quicker and more organised way to deal with this.

The Airbus article covers this well.

That first one, I was cringing when he went up to the battery before it exploded in flames and sparks, handling / touching a smoking lipo is one of the first safety points of what not to do.
