Today I managed to loose my mavic pro drone ..What is happened is I could not go forward or any way (to bring it back )in the wind so its just gone..RTH does not worked and I lost video signal after 300m which is not 7KM......
So I have looked the last coordinates in the app BUT when I going to Filght data and choose the right "last" flights the destination "landing" coordinates are different see first picture. So After I went to the main menu in app than choose find my drone which show again totally different coordinates. My question how can I find it if the battery is low? Does the GPS modul still working ? Jessus cant believe 800pouns just gone in stupid way :D nooo

well only one thing what i dont understand is RTH did not work also the connection is lost around 500m... than when I looking my flight coordinates the drone fly back wards..Does not metter what I tried to do on the controller going down or anything to save it nothing worked.. which is said. also If i want to loose a lot of money I go to casino lol :D with 0 knowledge.. 100% succesfully. well I wil lgo tomorrow again have a look but I have no idea which is the right, real coordinates..soo I think its over. Never again dji or any drones.

Don't despair. Log analysis have helped find many a lost Mavic.

I know this will not help you now, but for future flights a switch to Sport mode and drop in altitude would help fight a strong wind.

I do.. :( Seriously I look after my drone did not went more than 200-250m distance .. than still lost connection around 500m?? So disapointed now.(The bigest problem is tomorrow will be rain..) rth not working signal lost in a second.. gps signal was fine clear weather and windi... when I look back my flight record on the map the drone just going back wards..than lost.
The worst think wil lbe "If I find it" next time I will be not confident to use it. .than after this situatin will be not hobby" fun" anymore because of this situation. Well. I go tomorrow in the rain than try to find .

also this drone is so good"was" has got so many function and safety things why dji did not installed a safety gps modul which provide you more gps coordinates for feww days?after the main battery is dead?

Those are the correct logs - the app reconnected leading to there being two of them. The reason you lost it was because the winds above 100 m were blowing at over 60 km/hr out of the southwest. It was unable to make any progress into the wind in RTH mode and, in fact, was being blown further away. Given that there are log data all the way to the start of autolanding I should be able to estimate the final landing location to within 100 m or so, but that will have to wait until later today.

also what about if somene already found it? I cant do nothing. No gps tracking or serial block if someone try to reactivate

Well, lets stay positive and take this one step at a time shall we? If you placed your FAA Regsitration number on the Mavic as well as your phone number using stickers then there is a good chance that the person that found it (assuming someone already found it) would contact you or the FAA registration database.

Thank you Looks like RTH was f..d my drone? Sure I can imagine the wind near 90m is powerful , but If I lost connection what can I do?
I will go and have a look tomorrow but to find it in 100m radius without any noise/beep sound .. will be inpossible.
So which is the correct "drone location? which is near by the forest? or the other one in the city?
is mavic pro waterproof? :D well let see tomorrow.thanks guys!

You lost connection simply because it drifted away, and the combination of altitude and distance meant that line of sight was lost. What should you have done? Well firstly - not launched and flown up to that altitude in those wind conditions. Secondly, when the aircraft started to be blown downwind you should have descended immediately. Thirdly you having not done either of those, you should have switched to Sport mode rather than relied on RTH to bring it back.

I understand but how I lost connection around 500m? where it the 7km range? I flight around 100m than the wind taken my drone than RTH is turned on than I lost my drone. I had no chance to do anything because I completely lost connection.. o_O I could not controll my drone.. so how can I landing without controller? I think its no way.
Ok i have not turned on sport mode but the problem is still same how to turn on sprot mode If no connection? offcourse the video transmitting is just one thing Might still have drone connection. Its happened.Lets find it tomorrow then I will sell it. thanks guys seriously dont know what is the best place for search so It will take a day to find it.

If you were high up then there would be a better signal.
You were low surrounded by residential commercial buildings all with communications being transmitted.
I understand but how I lost connection around 500m? where it the 7km range?.

there are 1 or 2 flat roofs it could've landed on out to the NE E
