So shooting in manual mode (video) I understand EV becomes an EV meter not compensation as in AUTO.

But when I change the shutter speed the EV stays where it first booted onto ? If its a meter why doesn't it adjust all the time ?

Thanks

If it works like a regular camera, it would hold depending on what mode you're in.

In full auto mode, you'd adjust the exposure using the EV meter.

In full manual mode, you adjust exposure using the shutter speed. The EV won't change.

Maybe someone with more experience with Mavics can chime in if I'm wrong.

It should change. Thats the current exposure being shown. So if I change the shutter or ISO the exposure will alter.. so the meter should show the change.

It did at one point. It's now stopped. :-/

Actually, you're correct. It should change, I checked it on my camera. Not sure what's going on with your app. Maybe a problem with the last update? I'm probably going to go flying later, I'll check it in mine and see what happens. Are you using IOS or Android?

When I was flying today, using manual mode, the EV would change when I changed the shutter speed.
