I have down loaded proper area maps to my smart controller for area I plan to fly in soon. Will maps automatically come up when I arrive there? If not how to o get them to come up??

Downloaded maps will automatically show up, no need to do anything special. Fly safe!

They will show up automatically as long as you have an internet connection. If not, you can try to upload them early, but there is a limit as to how much mapping it can cache.

Mr. Carey, I have them cached in the memory of the smart controller I use but at this area in question I will NOT have internet access. Will they still show up???

Yes they will. You don't need an internet connection if the area has been cached.

I have a SC and cache maps....can they be cached to the SC's external SD card?
