Will setting mapping missions to set the elevations to ground level reference rather than takeoff location reference help make mapping / Elevation models / 3D models more accurate or not??
If you have a changes in elevation between different parts of the map it can help get good even coverage but the model takes the MSL height from the EXIf data from the photos so the model won’t even be aware of the AGL height you set. Will setting mapping missions to set the elevations to ground level reference rather than takeoff location reference help make mapping / Elevation models / 3D models more accurate or not??
Wondering whether you have any additional (easy) information re: elevation maps. I recently ran the same map twice and received completely different elevation values for the map. I'm not sure why this is the case and was wondering whether you've encountered similar issues, and if so, what the solution may be.Will setting mapping missions to set the elevations to ground level reference rather than takeoff location reference help make mapping / Elevation models / 3D models more accurate or not??
