I ordered a Mav Mount for my Mavic Air 2 and my son’s Mavic Mini... thought I would share photos...

They look nice but heavy? Is there a way to attach a lanyard? Do you have a link? Thanks.

I’m pretty new to this hobby, but both of the mounts seemed very light yet sturdy. My iPad is definitely the heaviest part of that equation.

Re: mount point; the spot they use seems to be about the only place on the scout for a lanyard attachment. YMMV.

Yes. They sell a lanyard that slides onto the pivoting mount arm. I just took pics before I attached the lanyards. ?

I ordered and received a MavMount for my MA2 as soon as I got it. I'm really impressed with the build quality. It's probably one of the more pricey accessories out there, but, as they say, "Buy once, cry once". I got the lanyard kit, too, but haven't used it yet.

Living in the area I do, a major problem is the extremely aggressive sunlight. It's hard to see anything on an LCD screen outdoors, so I acquired a Hoodman sun shade to go with the setup. With a little ingenuity and some photographic equipment adaptors, I got the whole mess set up to mount on a standard camera tripod (10 bucks at Goodwill!), so my wrists and neck are not being strained. That lets me concentrate more on operating the aircraft rather than juggling the controller/tablet/etc.

As far as I can tell, that system is a good choice. As I use it more I'll have more opinions, but, for now, I'll just say that I personally like it!
