Mavic 2 - 4K 60fps

Mavic 2 is the best drone in all DJI Models. "Mavic 2 Pro" specs are very close to DJI Phantom 4 Pro v2 which only has additional camera capability of 4K 60fps.

Keeping in view, same camera sensor specifications, is it possible that DJI may upgrade firmware to add 4K 60fps to M2P?

What do u guys think about this.. OR we may have to wait for Mavic 3 ???

I think theres about as much chance of them making firmware that would
enable the Mavic 2 Pro to have Zoom.

One could argue DJI firmware disables more features than it activates

like what if it we were at War, and the Allies had to make their fleet of Mavic 2 collect 60fps?

In Theory you should be able to get 48 frames per second 2160i from the same hardware.
Progressive you would have to build a whole new codec system, or sumthin.

This has been discussed plenty of times. The prevailing thought seems to be that the smaller Mavic 2 can't handle the 60fps due to heat generated with the more intense processing. Don't know if it is that or they wanted something to differiniate the two craft.

One can always drop to 2.7K if 60fps is needed. May or may not suit some.
