Mavic 2 battery will not charge.

Hello, I'm looking for some help with one of my Mavic 2 batteries. I accidently let it get down to zero charge and after a few days I went to charge a couple of batteries on the multi charger. One battery charged normally and this one which did not, triggered the red light on the charging light indictor. There is NO swelling on the battery and I've had it about 18 months and when the button on the top of the battery is pressed nothing happens. Any input on what to try will be appreciated, thank you all.

If the battery will not turn on or charge no firmware will help. If it went down too low then its BMS flags "permanent failure" and it's dead for good.

you can try charging it on just the wall charger without the hub. see if that does anything

Hey TruGreen, I tried the wall charger as well but I'm going to send it back to DJI. It's not under warranty and since it isn't swollen I'm going to see if they can repair it.

i think they will just tell you that you need to buy a new one,

If they refuse to repair, you could try to unlock the battery electronics remotely and allow the battery to charge again. It was correctly noted by @Kilrah, the chip got in Permanent Failure state by deep-discharge event, which is stored in the integrated memory.
