Mavic 2 Pro and SC won't connect using DJI Fly

Good afternoon everyone. I'm hoping you guys can help me out with a question I have regarding my Smart Controller and my Mavic 2 Pro.

When I launch the DJI fly app on my smart controller it launches fine until I need to connect it with my Mavic 2 pro. Once I power up the Mavic 2 pro I get a screen that tells me that

"Device not supported
Check the user manual and download the correct app version. For more information, contact DJI Support for assistance"

I've got my Mavic Pro and the SC updated to the latest firmware. How to get the DJI Fly app to work with my Mavic Pro 2?

DJI Fly is V 1.5.9 installed on my SC
Mavic Pro V1.00.0770


Is there a specific firmware version or app version I need to make things work?

The DJI FLY app isn't intended to work with a Mavic 2 Pro ... you need to use the DJI GO 4 app.

Just out of curiosity what happens if you press the C1, C2 and record button combination? Does the controller automatically select the correct App?
