I am trying to see how to set this mod. I acquired this LED lights with XT60 connector plus the Mavic 2 battery external battery mod. The light is super bright as you see in the pictures.
But i am trying to figure out how to do the final install.

@zeusfl with the length of the cable that is currently attached to the light ,then the only place it could be attached is right at the back of the drone
you would need to have some velcro on each battery and attach the light to the battery each time you changed it

if it were me i would extend the wires between the connector and light so it would be possible to mount the light near the front of the drone and then simply unplug the connector to change the battery

I like the idea. Actually the cables are overkill wide. I can use thinner cables. By the way, by flapping the small switches I can change the light color to red or white.

you would not need a very thick cable as LEDs draw very little current i would have thought ,keep the heavy cables at the light end so you can angle the light up and velcro the wires to the drone ,or you could make a small block of balsa wood ,or very dense form like the stuff you get in the box that the drone comes in,it is light and you could easily attach it with velcro also

Impressive idea but why would you put this light on the top? Seems to me on the bottom: a; it won't interfere with gps reception and b; you, on the ground will see it a lot better.

I agree with your. That is the idea but I need to modify the cables to reach the bottom. It was just testing.

There a link or good search term to find a battery to plug in there ? Not having good luck.

Not specifically for the MA2 but should give you an idea

Firehouse ARC2s and ARC XL strobes have batteries that last four to six hours and can be affixed to any drone. Visible for 3.5 miles by certified testing, and the XLs have a 98bB locator tone that starts after the drone is still for 2 minutes.

That's one of the best out there, but a little larger and a bit more in price than their ARC V which is also self enclosed, but not quite as long of battery life and no beeper... but only $34.

I looked up the Lume Cube lighting set. Almost $200 and 100 grams/ 3.5 ounces. While I'm not keen on tapping into the M2's batttery for accessories, I really like what he's got. I wonder how much a setup like that costs?

the lume cubes are kinda of a different use case, in addition to visibility people mainly use them for illumination

although they do have an anti collision drone light

I get it. I suppose if one could find a lot of use for them it might be worth it. I could see mounting them on a bicycle or finding some other use. $189 seems kind of pricey if you're not going to use them all the time or as a novelty.
