DJI’s Mavic 4 Enterprise might be on the horizon, and the buzz is all about its game-changing features. From advanced sensors, large camera system, and improved performance, find out what we know so far about this potential powerhouse drone.

1. Large Camera System
The camera system on this prototype looks huge, and seems to include:

A telephoto lens
A wide-angle lens
A thermal camera
And a range finder

2. RTK and Expansion Port

We can see what look like professional-grade accessories in the footage, including:

An RTK module on top for enhanced positioning accuracy
An LED beacon for enhanced visibility
An expansion port on the rear for connecting accessories like loudspeakers, LED beacons, and spotlights
What looks like a loudspeaker, which could be useful for public safety work
A spotlight for search missions / night operations (another public safety accessory)

3. No LiDAR Sensor
The DJI Air 3S, which was released just last month, comes with a LiDAR sensor to support night flying.

There’s been speculation that the Mavic 4 would come with a LiDAR sensor too, but this prototype doesn’t seem to have one. But that could just be because it’s an early prototype—we’ll have to wait and see.

4. Different Camera Housing
While the Mavic 4 we saw in last week’s leaked video has a spherical housing for the camera, this camera system in this leaked video has a boxy design.

Again, it’s too early to know if this means the Mavic 4 and Mavic 4 Enterprise will have different camera housings or if the difference can be attributed to the drones being early in the design phase.

5. It’s Pretty Dang Tough
One thing that stands out in this video is that the drone has clearly been put through its paces, and seems to be doing OK.

Despite visible dirt and scratches the overall airframe seems just fine. Also on the toughness front, this version of the Mavic Enterprise seems to have more robust arms than in previous models, which could help improve crash resistance.
