Long story short, I've been moving house and while throwing out junk, I came across a couple of cheap 4 channel rc heli's one of which was broken. I also found a toy sky diver and an idea (and the perfect way to procrastinate and delay getting anything useful done) was born. So I stripped down the broken Heli, mounted the servos in the outside of an old ADSL filter case and tucked the rest neatly(ish) inside. Throw in a couple of hair clips and copious amounts of super glue and I have a crude but functional double air-dropper. I have included a short video of the initial test, but have since tried it with the sky diver indoors. Now to wait for the weather to clear so we can give him some altitude.
