DJI Mini 2 flight time test with Mavic Mini battery is one of the most requested tests on the channel. How does it handle, does it affect the DJI Mini 2 max speed, flight time, and other factors. I have tested this under real conditions in a mix of recording video and taking photos

Well I've got "low voltage" warning when flying in sports mode. Don't know if battery firmware update will fix it.

Theoretically, heavier battery with the same capacity and technology means better C ratio.

The battery in Mini 2 is charged to very high voltage to obtain maximum capcacity, but unfortunatly this definitely affects battery life significantly (therefore DJI's hack to discharge battery after some days of non usage).

This said, Mini 1 battery (I mean cells!) could be even better than Mini 2, but the limitation can also be done in the BMS. For reference see a screenshots of a modern BMS/FG chip (similar to this is built into Mini 2 battery!) ...

Regards,
G
