Mavic Mini Charging Dock? Bad for Battery?

I got the display dock for my mavic mini when I bought it from DJI and I really like it, but I'm a bit concerned about it negatively affecting my battery.

Does anyone have any thoughts on input?

Since it is a genuine part designed by DJI I think you can assume that it will not negatively affect your batteries.

My concern is that the battery is constantly being topped up and kept at 100%, even when the drone is not in use for extended periods of time.

I’m not sure if the mini has an auto discharge but every drone I’ve owned before it did and batteries tend to have a finite number of charges, so if the mini is constantly being topped up - could this have a negative effect on the batteries life?

If you fly your drone on daly basis or at least few times a week, i think it's ok to leave on stand. But if you won't be flyng it for more than 10 days, probably best would be to discharge battery to around 50% and leave it that way. You can just unplug stand cord.

Are you talking about the glass dome thingy? Why are you concerned about it?
Because it is always charging?

This is the concern I have, it often sits for a month at a time between use. Especially since the winter months here are often unflyable.

Yes exactly, and I often don't use the drone for a month+ at a time

Discharge it by flying or at least turn mini on for some time, but make sure temperature doesn't rise too much. App will tell you if it does.
