I have an older Quanum Cyclops that operates at 5.8 mhz and was hoping to use it with the Mini. So far unsuccessful. It appears that Mini (in the US) alternates between 5 different 5.8 frequencies when in auto mode. Does anyone know what these frequencies are? Are extended WiFi frequencies any different? Thanks.

DJI does not transmit a ‘pure’ video feed but rather the video is interleaved within the control/telemetry data stream.
There is also a unique binding identifier embedded within the control frames which enable the TX/RX to hop frequencies as appropriate for the prevailing noise environment.
You will not be able to use a simple 5.8ghz (or 2.4) video RX to view the FPV feed from the Mini.

These are just the frequencies used, nothing else.

As references:
a) The FCC pdf with the frequencies - https://fccid.io/SS3-MT1SS51905/Letter/Frequency-Band-Declaration-4470091.pdf

b) The available FCC channels in the app are 149, 153, 157, 161 and 165

c) the associated frequencies are the last ones from this chart below.

Yes - the Mini uses standard frequencies but not a standard video signal. The video information is embedded within the data stream itself and decoded via firmware/hardware on the ground.
You cannot simply ‘strip’ the video from the stream for display on a standard 5.8ghz video receiving device.
