Good evening everyone,
Before I begin let me state I have done all my research in this "Mavic Pro Battery" mod, research the videos and all of them very informative, read tge post in a few forums great stuff too. I see both pros and cons but I think it is worth doing it. I will be using this equipment..
DJI Mavic Pro Battery Adapter
DJI Mavic Battery Mount (Pro / Platinum)
Turnigy High Capacity 4000mAh 3S 12C Multi-Rotor LiHV Pack w/XT60

If anyone has any suggestions or help or better equipment I could use, please feel free to let me know

Thank you

Actually changed my mind, hardwired is the way too go

Are they built heavy enough for the current being drawn

stock battery is not heavy it light then protek lihv battery

Are the cables built from large enough wires to provide proper current and not get hot

I was asking about the wires not the battery . Why not answer what I’m asking .

Yo thats awesome you actually got it working! That's basically exactly what I was thinking of doing with my mp2z but I haven't gotten it all together yet! Same I have the same cable with the notched corner on battery connector.

stock battery never get hot if you do the right mod see this video:
Hey, is there a way to tell that the mod actually works besides hovering the thing for 30 or however long? Is the go4 app the slider on top of the screen, does that show a estimated flight time of the 2 batteries as 1? And does the smart return to home know when you should turn back?
