So, in my interest in trying FPV with my MP without spending hundreds of dollars on the DJI headgear I thought I would search for a more affordable option.
I came across CAVU which is an Anrdoid App that runs well on my Note 4 and provides excellent connection to the MP video feed as well. The instructions were acceptable and I had no problem getting connected. The App even provides Head Tilt for the Gimbal... what a winner!
The App costs like 6 bucks and will provide 5 minute slices of Trial Time before you buy. I am using the ILive White headgear with audio and it has a smoke front cover that allows me to use the Note camera to see around me and a simple button push takes me back to Drone View.
My testing was done indoors with no props just to see the feed. I cannot wait to take it out for a real test.
