Mavic Pro Is Amazing

I have had a love/hate relationship with mavic....

Today it seems Mavic has settle down and I'm in a sweet spot....

The mavic pro Flys effortlessly and Lulls you into a sense of Operator advance ability syndrome
So I flew in sports mode in and around trees around 80-150ft..
it was Beautiful the Day the Mavic
and then out of the blue an old friend showed up and I had to show off
So I do what I do best I got stupid ..

The mavic Pro is amazing..!!
I have flown in Rain/Wind/Night
Flown in and out of a tree

Today
I nicked 3 rotors and it still flew
I had spare Rotors and Put two New Rotors on and Flew some more.

Today Mavic did everything I wanted to do and when I failed it... It didn't cost me arm and leg

Another great mavic day still in the sweet spot.
A two battery day Amazing

Pre Flight Check
unfold mavic
check battery seated
Remove gimbal guard and camera hold down
Set Mavic Down on Homeport Turn Mavic on.... check battery level
Start tablet (Nexus7) Not plugged in
Start controller Let it go through NFZ warning GPS mode check satellite,battery levels
Mavic controller
get the "Go Fly"
Go to desktop on tablet ...Plug into Controller Give it a hard minute
Go to Go4app
Connects " Go fly "
Go to user interface Check camera ...OK
Check the setting Make sure Nothing is changed
Make sure Loss of signal RTH ...OK
little tune up
Change Camera setting in manual for the flight
.
Start rotors. Little windup Hard minute
Lift off slow straight up Wait for "home port set" up to 200ft check for wind Check see if gimble wonder/hunting
start out in Program flight
Switch back and forth in and out of sports mode
.
My hard rule
No flight with less then 20% alarm set 30%
Don't fly outside my skill level

Little bridge on the edge my fly zone

I feel like my bird is Tune just right and I'm aware of my abilities take care not to exceed them.
Yes I crashed Hard Once......... Busted the gimbal
Ran low on battery and Thought it was not descending fast enough I got stupid Pulled CSC.
(who had 23 days)

.........Then there was the time Thought a lost yaw and it headed into a tree But did not crash
I flew it out.
And then there was another time I got stupid and was showing off for a friend and lightly
crashed in a maple chipped 3 rotor's
..........................................But That's it

it's been 60 day since I first recieved mavic.... Flown almost every day.
..............I believe I'm in a sweet spot and have been for over a couple of weeks
Not much tweaking before flight mostly just exposure and Shutter speed in manual

Hello my Mavic gimbal just stopped working out of nowhere, last time I flew it was about a month ago it was working fine and this weekend it stopped working, camera still works

That"s not good
I would check the "Ribbon cable for chaffing".!
Might have to open up your Mavic and see if maybe the gimble plug on the Board is loose
You tube has many great video on how to open and repair Gimble/camera on the Mavic
