Hey

I've been contemplating the dual battery mod for some time now.
I have digdat0's video of course.
I was just wondering if there had been any variations on the dual saddle theme?

Is it pretty much still the only battery mod for more Airtime with Mavic Pro

Thanks

You can wire directly into the Mavic board, which is actually the most efficient way to get extra flight time. The battery clip works well, but slightly less efficient. The trade off is you do not have to do anything invasive and soldering not needed. For weight purposes I don’t get any heavier than 500grams total. And recently I discovered the ability to go into Assistant and switch to a non dji battery, lower voltages that initiate Auto Land, or to disable it all together which buys you at least 3 extra minutes. I have yet to try anything higher than two 3000mah batteries, but have gotten 30+ minutes flight, not just hover. And I will add, when I do hover tests the temperature gets a little too hot. In flight it stays within the safe window.
I’m happy to help and offer any advice I can!!
Thanks!
Jake

Wow, Thanks for that.
I like the idea of no Solder. I've never been too graceful with it.
Will PM you about the mod Tommorow.

Non-Dji Battery is a great setting

When travelling over water with wind, etc, Auto-land is not your friend
