I own a Mavic Pro. It is a recent purchase and the furthest I have ever flown is just over 2 miles. It was on the beach over the sand with little wind and nothing but sky between me and the drone. I had a signal glitch, got nervous and brought it home. I have seen mixed results from owners posting range tests on the web for the Mavic Pro and curious about the experience of others in this forums that have done long range flying.

How far did you fly?
What was the weather conditions?
Any obstacles or obstructions between you and the drone?
Did you lose signal?
How much battery did you have at the turn around point?
How much battery did you have when it got home?

Thanks!

Using my MPP with no antenna mod or performance mods, In order asked:
- 2.5 miles out and 2.5 back (lose site of my strobes keeping me from going farther legally)
- clear sunny and calm, 65 degrees
- some rolling ground and small mesquite trees
- Had 4-5 bars the whole way
- no
- about 60-65%
- about 35-40%

Hope this helps. I have seen videos over twice as far.

Flew my stock setup Mavic Pro, just a bit past 3 miles away and 3 back on a flight next to the Gulf. Light wind. Flew until it gave the turn around or you will not make it back message. Made it back with minimum battery.

With my mpp I went out to 5.28 miles, turned around at 52% battery landed at 0%. Almost zero wind and no issues with signal.
