Mavic Refurb - Given new serial #'s

We'll finally received my update about my replacement unit arriving tomorrow. Interesting is that I also received the serial# for it. Odd thing is that it needed one day prior for their tech department to test to ensure everything was functioning which tells me it probably wasn't a new unit but when I use this site to check the build date of the serial # it shows it only as mfg. 15 days ago.

So It would seem that the refurb unit's are given new serial numbers.

Wondering what serial # is on everyone else's replacement, does it look like it was made 10-15 days prior?

I'll let ya know when they ship mine. I had the gimbal obstruction issue. I got the email saying it was under warranty. It better be since I've only had it for 10 days and no crashes. So they said 3-6 days to fix it. But you know they're just going to send out a refurb. Economics would say swap it out and reflash gimbal board would be easiest.

Ps, just checked the paperwork and it has my sn# on it. Your decoder says it's born on date is May 31st 2017
