Some of you may have read Mels thread about flying in a cooling tower

" Having taken some photos over the tops of some dormant cooling towers I was thinking of trying to fly inside one of them.
They are 300ft tall and obviously made of concrete.
How far down do you think I can get before I loose signal?
Thoughts please.

Cheers Mel "

Thread Here

I created this poll so Mel can keep count of the forum members opinions. If Mel does decided to go through with this, it will definitely put the transmission and RC connection to the test.

What an interesting way to loose your drone. How many drone do you have? Maybe you should ask yourself how it will fly after it looses GPS??

What if we all agree to pitch in $20 to buy a new one for Mel if it goes to grave....go fund me

Drones don't need GPS to fly.

It's been done with FPV drones before without issue.
