Midnight Sun the Arctic Ocean and Barrow Alaska with the Mavic

Hello first time here it's a cool neighborhood.
Took a midnight flight over some old ice and fought some strong gusty winds. The Mavic struggles against the strong 18-22 knot winds but still shoots a clear stable frame.
It's a learning process. Here's the Beaufort sea a week or so before the ice went out.

Barrow is 9 miles from Pt. Barrow where Wiley Post and Will Rogers ended their cross country flight in 1935. Right up on the tip of the continent. Cool huh

Heck of an idea. I work there a week on week off and it's quite a cool community. The Mavic would make navigating on the spring pack ice much safer for the whalers and eliminate a lot of wandering around looking for easier routes to open leads.
