Missing Drones....

Random thought....

With all the flyaways and disappearing drones one would think that there would be some measurable reports of found drones. I know there are a handful on this forum but it sure seems that there should be more. Thoughts?

if they went down in a populated area then yes at some point they could be found, but if out in the sticks they could remain hidden for years,as well as high rise buildings if they landed on the roof

Especially in pine trees, as they don't lose their foliage like deciduous trees.

A person that has lost a drone is much more likely to talk/post about it than someone that has randomly found a crashed drone. The fly away victim is probably an enthusiast, the person finding the drone more than likely couldn’t care less about them. Just my thoughts.
