MP original, battery problem

About 3-4 months ago I noticed one of my batteries had a bulge at the bottom of the battery after charging, so I put that to one side and purchased a new one, yesterday I found the battery with the bulge in a cupboard and there was no bulge, so I charged that battery and it has all 4 light and no bulge, I have not put it in the MP yet, do you guys think it will be ok to use or not.

I would be very careful with it. Even though its not still puffed, it might have flaws. If you decide to use it, maybe try updating fw first for 20 minutes and see how it does, checking the voltage readings the whole time, and also watching the temperature in the same window.

Hi TD, thanks for your feedback, I have the battery in the MP and still not turned it on, I do need to redo the settings so will try that tomorrow.

put battery into MP and it reported a battery error, readings for battery were 4.02v 4.17v 4.24v now to find a battery disposal place here in WA
