Good afternoon everyone,
So I was wondering is their any other way to discharge my MP1 batteries other than hooking up to my drone and letting it Hoover or just sit their? There are ttimes where it will be a few weeks before I can fly again because of work or family stuff. Can I hook them up too my HTRC C240 battery charger and let it run through a cycle or something. Any help would be great or tricks that anyone knows of?
Thank you,
Brye

The batteries will automatically discharge to a storage level on their own after a period of inactivity. This is adjustable in the DJI Go 4 app. I think the default is 10 days but you can easily lower it to 2 days if you want.

Thank both of you for answering back. I didn't know their was a hardware piece of equipment that I could use and I will look into it. As for DJI GO app, yes I have it already set to 10 days. I usually store my batteries around 50% anyway. So is this a good idea to store at 50% or do I have to discharge them lower if storing for a few weeks to month's?

ideally they should be stored at around 3.8 volts per cell which equates to around 50 to 60% charge on the battery if two lights are on at least you should be ok and two lights plus the third light flashing is ok as well, just check them every couple of weeks ,as they will loose some charge over a prolonged period of none use,on the mavic pro you can change the time to auto discharge from 1 to 10 days in the app but the mavic 2 is set for 10 days only at this time

Yeah I love my MP1, I really don't think there will ever be another like it.

3.8V is a good storage voltage- it is actually 40% SOC (not 50 to 60). I keep mine at 3.7V (30%) however the advantages are likely minimal. It just so happens that is the point I usually fly my packs down to so I can just leave them until they next need a charge.
