My Mavic mini project

Hi all !

So I bought my Mavic Mini on a local marketplace for a good price. Not really knowing what I was getting into. I quickly found out that I needed to change the main board, since it missed the power button , probably in a crash.
Then now, the Mavic powers up , motors move and the drone beeps. However it does not pair in any way with the controller. Did all the tricks i could find on the inter webs:
- updated firmware via DJI assistant 2
- there is no SD card in the drone, so that won't be a problem
- pressed the buttons 6+ seconds, but nothing special happens

So I came here, really hoping you have a solutions, aside of sending this drone to DJI as that will be a direct defeat
Is there anyway to bench test controller or drone via app or Mac?

I recall there was a trick to engaging pairing. I forget what it was.

Thanks At least you have better weather there ?
Seems that this drone has been in a crash and tinkered with. I ordered a new bottom panel and some new parts. My RC seems to work, as my phone connects. But I don’t get the RC to talk to the drone ?
