Yes I’m trying to figure out what would cause my Mavic Mini to not pick up gps signal. I had an incident with water a lil while back and am trying to get it back going. I put a new gps module on it hoping that it might fix the problem but no luck. What’s also confusing is to why it would say that it is in Shenzhen China when I use the find my drone feature. I know that’s where it was made but have no idea why it would say it’s their now. Everything appears to work other than the gps.

A little more info on the “water” incident may be a help.

Sounds suspiciously like the replacement of the GPS module either didn't work, or you got a bad one!

Sounds like you got it back, but it had a bath ?
If so, it seems like it powers up but there is this GPS problem ?

Yes, more info might help, as this is confusing the matter . . .

Why is it saying that my drone is in Shenzhen China now?

Are you saying you haven't got the drone ?

Too confusing, needs simple facts.

I have the drone, it powers up, and does all the calibrations just fine. However theirs a critical navigation and gps error that comes on the screen and want let me take off. When I press the find my drone on my cell screen it takes me all the way across the ocean to Shenzhen even though it is beeping and flashing right in front of me.

So you replaced a gps module after you 'got it back'.
Was this after a swim ?
If so, did it get immersed ? how long ?
Or just puddle splashed / wet with rain ?

If it got wet inside, there is possibly a lot more going on with electronics than you could easily figure out.
At least without things like main circuitry you can plug and test until you find out what's gone.

If it fell into anything deep for any length of time, long term it's probably going to cause issues.

No Care Refresh, I assume ?

Hope you can fix it somehow, sounds like you don't mind tinkering with it.

It crash landed upside down in about 4 inches of water and was in the water for probably 10-15 minutes until I used the app to track it down. Was under the impression that DJI would either fix or replace unit since it disconnected directly over head and took off in opposite direction. It was only four days old and made the mistake of sending it in to DJI in California and they had it for over a month. Said after reviewing the data it was pilot error. The initial disconnect and me not knowing what it was doing or where it was at caused the crash but whatever. I had them send it back to me. Im hoping they sent the right one back and didn’t rig it for failure.
