I just got my Mavic Air 2 a week ago and I love it. I am coming from a Spark. The Spark is an amazing, small, and tough drone. I wanted to upgrade and this is the perfect one. It flies very smoothly and I get more out of editing the pictures. I am gonna have fun with those one. Oh and the hyperlapse is just dope.

Welcome to our forum, from Hauptmann in North Texas!

The MA2 is a great machine with a great camera. Lots of cool stuff to shoot in San Diego--I oughtta know--lived in 92128 for 25 years!

Read the manual (link below), and be conservative at first. Practice using "Find My Drone". Don't wait until you lose your MA2 before you try to learn how to find it. We have over 120,000 members world wide to help you advance as a pilot and photographer. Ask for help when you need it. Share your work when you can.

Thanks for joining!

Thanks. Oh yes there are plenty of places to fly in San Diego despite all the the airports and military bases.
