LifThor is Pre-Sales (May/June ship) their new aluminum Mavic Air 2 designed mount.
I have their mount for Autel EVO, very nicely made.
I have 3 MavMounts, and they're equally great quality.
The MavMount for Mavic RC looks to fit the MA2 Antenna Clamp.

The LifThor is specifically designed for MA2 and appears to go under MA2 RC, provides a Tripod mount mount too.
Something to consider...
Listed as $79 including cable of choice.

Ordered already looks great and gives you lots of flexibility on tablet size.

The MavMount for Mavic 2 or Mavics will fit the MA2 clamp in same fashion as a phone. Not sure how it compares to the MavMount for Mini... I use the M2P mount for Mini. Regardless, the MavMount will work for the MA2 clamp mount. He is developing a MA2 specific mount too... from my light communication.

I like the LifThor mount, it clamps under and around... doesn't rely on MA2 clamp tension so it should be very stable holding a 10" iPadPro.

It does take a bit more to secure, but not as much as the EVO mount... and doesn't look overly complicated if focus is a heavier tablet. Might be over kill for a phone or ipad mini.

Over Kill .... I like the Skyreat I already have. Solid & detaches very easily! Might be perfect for some though.

Cheers, Jon

I completely agree with all of this and ordered one of these last week as soon as I saw it.

In my opinion, the problem with the current available mounts is the way they connect to the controller. I have one and it just doesn't feel secure with my iPad Air 3, which is a 10.5" tablet. Nothing wrong with the quality of the current ones it's just the controller is designed for a phone and not the weight of a tablet.

The Polar Pro Flight Deck works well with the Air 2. I have the Fifthor for my Evo and MP1. Works well but is time consuming to set up and break down. Also won’t fit in my back pack very well. The new model for Air 2 does look simpler to assemble and break down. Like to see Thor do a video before buying. Flight deck folds way down to pack and works with CS too. Dealing with Thor has been a pleasant experience. I think the Skyreat is a little sloppy with the Air 2 and an iPad Mini.

I tried my UZOPI tablet holder from the Mini, but I felt it could be a problem with the sticks. It was also a bit heavy. So I took two 3" s hooks and got it to work. But then I found this odd little 3" s hook and bent it a bit and it works great, and the tablet is in there solid. The tablet feels much more balanced as well. Total cost about $1. You can also use the original Air 2 cable to plug into your iPad Mini. Please feel free to steal my idea:)

The S-Hook is a good use of the existing tension in Antenna clamp.

Similar to Anafi's RC... I've seen / read somewhere that some are beginning to make 3D printed clamp extensions for the MA2.

That may be a workable solution similar to above S-Hook.

I often wonder what participating on these forums has cost me over the year...hahaha.

The day you posted this, I pre-ordered this MA2 mount directly from Lifthor, and I'm glad I did. Having since received the MA2, I have been using my MavMount with it, but the fit is not perfect like it is with the prior Mavic remotes, and I don't like the added stress that the current, MavMount style mount puts on this new controller design. It is the antenna after all, and although a cell-phone will cause no issues, my 10.5" iPad Pro seems like a bull in a china shop.

Now, the question is when they will begin shipping...

Great info... and glad to hear your thoughts on the MavMount & 10.5"... that's my normal setup... 10.5" ipad pro or Tab S4.

Other than a quick exam of a friend's MA2, the RC's antenna mount didn't impress me as a substantial point for top heavy tablet. Retention felt low and the mount points were smooth... both increase tablet movement.

I'm holding on the MA2 a bit longer... waiting if M3P will surface. But I'm guessing the new RC shape may be the same for M3P.

I just checked the Lifthor website, and they have an update posted. All of the early preorders should begin shipping this week...Thumbswayup

I actually like how this can be stored flat/compact:

I like the Lifthor mount, although the small thin package of the Skyreat was worth a look too. Ordered one, and it is a quality unit... and for gear bag it folds very flat and compact... similar to a MavMount, but folds flat. I ordered this for my friend, and have since passed over to him. I may consider getting myself one too.

I just received an email that mine has shipped.
Because of your post, I checked my email, and Boom...mine is on the way too! ?
