Hi everybody just bought a Mavic Air. Love it so far. Looking forward to finding out some tips and tricks from this forum. This is my first real drone had a few toy ones before the air but after flying the air those were nothing like flying this at all.

Welcome to the forum and to "drone fun". My wife and I also flew what I might call a "toy drone" before. And yes, there is no comparison as to how easy it is to fly a mavic compared to the toys. The old one was a full time job just to keep it in the same general area if there was any breeze at all. Enjoy....

Thanks groundhawg and Kenneth Coe!
I live in an area where theres always wind. It was a constant struggle to just keep a toy drone in the air and I would spend most of each battery trying to bring it back to me. Lol. Even in small breeze it would always blow off track. But I didn’t have the cash to get a Mavic Air yet. Love how stable and easy it is to fly. Really want to get better at the controls to take good videos when taking my kids to the park, beach or any other family outing.
