Hello Mauro, welcome the the forum.
I would hold off flying anywhere near water for a while, practice a lot (beginner mode to start, a lot safer) in open park areas, keep well away from people / crowds, and learn all there is to know about the Mavic and its features.
You will find info on where you can fly legally online too, we have an app in Australia for this and I know the US has good ones too.
Also consider keeping in good with crowds, keep distance, go slow, it's easy to annoy sensitive people sometimes !!
Youtube for awesome tutorials on flying and all the features, how to use, and go through the DJI forums, are a wealth of learning resources, you can literally spend many nights just going from youtube video to the the next.
When you are practicing, get into the menus and see where everything is, practice especially with the return to home, how it works, how you can change from take off point to new location if moving position etc.
I am very deaf myself, but through long term exposure to industrial noise, so mine is NIHL (noise induced hearing loss), bilateral 72% which is classed as profoundly deaf.
Cochlear is a great advancement, I could use one or both sides done, but too costly here, my hearing aids are around $10k, but each cochlear about $25k !
It's good to have a resource such as this forum where hearing loss is no matter
Enjoy our drone when it comes.
