Thanks. I got a Mavic pro and it is fun so far. I do have a question about where to fly. I used the b4ufly app and the place says clear to fly. However there is an airport 3 miles away. Seems like I need to get permission but ap says good to go. What is the deal?

It may be Class G (unrestricted) with no tower. Use LAANC for authorization thru Kittyhawk or AirMap. Watch this link . . .
