I bought it directly from DJI, and have built out the kit I needed during my traveling days. I used it for several round the world projects, and now I work full time and don’t need to keep it locked up in a drawer. It comes with $500+ in extras, and is in immaculate condition. The biggest selling point of this specific drone is that I paid for firmware that lets you fly ANYWHERE without DJI pestering you or landing your drone in unfortunate places. When you flip the switch to Tripod mode, it turns on ATTI mode and disables DJI’s blocking system. It’s a precious feature to have when trying to get the shot you need, and won’t risk your investment deciding it wants to land in water.

Asking $1300. Located in north louisiana. Anymore questions, feel free to ask. Just please don’t waste my time if you aren’t serious about buying.

I’m sorry. Are you telling me what I haven’t been able to do for the last year?

I have no idea what you think you may have done. I'm simply telling you that ATTI mode doesn't disable geofencing.

Didn't he say he "paid for firmware" to do that? Is that not possible? Just curious. For money you get lots of honey. :)

It's possible that the firmware might be hacked to disable GNSS completely, which would deprive the FC of location information and force ATTI mode as collateral damage - a firmware version of the aluminum foil trick. I've not heard of that particular exploit, but that certainly doesn't mean it hasn't been done. If that's the case then perhaps the OP can elaborate.

Don't worry, he butts in all the time and knows everything. He is trying to keep the forum lead in reactions. What's the asking price?

He's probably referring to the No Limit Dronez (or similar?) software hack

Maybe, but NLD just replaced the aircraft geo database with an empty database - that did effectively disable the geofencing and didn't cause a switch to ATTI. Sounds different.

ATTI mode does not disable DJI geofencing. The only way to do that is via the DJI QEP.
I don't think that is exactly what he said (meant), he said he paid for firmware and (now) when he puts it in tripod/ATTI the geofence is removed. Seems to me the designer of the firmware may have intended this feature when in ATTI mode. It would be nice if he posted what firmware from who, then maybe it would be a bit more clear... I do not think he is saying that by simply going into ATTI mode (on an unaltered MP2) will disable the geofencing.

Quite possibly. My original point was addressing the persistent misconception that ATTI mode disables GNSS and thus bypasses the geofencing.

"When you flip the switch to Tripod mode, it turns on ATTI mode and disables DJI’s blocking system. It’s a precious feature to have..." It's pretty clear this is an additional feature of "firmware that lets you fly ANYWHERE". Sounds quite handy to have.
