Ok guys, now that some people are finally getting their Mavic's delivered, people are wondering what kind of range this thing has compared to the P4 & P3. We're looking for the longest distance from home, not the total traveled. If you would like to be added, please post the following:

• Screenshot showing the maximum distance from home, either from the DJI Go App, Litchi, or Healthydrones.
• Screenshot of you making it back home
• Please describe the flying environment, such as tree interference, hills, buildings, etc.
• What type of mods, if any, such as antenna upgrades, battery mods, etc.
• Tag me in the post so I get a notification. Tagging here is just like Twitter, @JakeMaxxUAV

Highly unlikely you get a reply back from Jake, he doesn’t really check this thread anymore.

In my opinion digdat0 Battery mod is probably the best. But you can fly well over 50K feet with just a battery clip.

I saw the battery clip and it seemed a bit expensive for what it is. Like 65 bucks, anywhere that it would be cheaper?

Last 6 months I am best number one deaf person UK is Full 11.1 miles or 18006m or 59074ft and no win point home to landing (5309m) I have world long range and long walking... little painful my legs for pick mavic pro up (lucky) than guys cool with car or motorbike easy. I don't have Screenshot showing DJI Go App, Healthydrones. just show my video to screenshot here.
My mavic pro is problem by battery because no back (point home).

4Hawks XR (not SR), 2 x mavic battery 3830mAh mod and bird antenna mod. GPS+ mods. way out with tailwind...

Modified phantom 4 propeller put on mavic pro to increase flight time. 30mins hovering time and 32mins flight time with a single mavic pro battery.

my best run so far with 2 ms4000s and battery clip. not sure I can get any more from this set up

Do you over charge lipo to 4.32 ? i know has two kind of batery 4000mah. one you can charge only until 4.20 lipo and the other LIHV you can charge until 4.20. Now my question is can i overcharge a lipo until 4.32 ? thanks for your answer Aumoe

The mavic battery is 4.35 so are the lihv batteries and they charge to 4.35 normally . Mine are lihv's.I'm sure you can overcharge a lipo but don't know how well it will work

Nice flight! What's the total weight with twin 5200s? Looks like you can hit the distance limit with that setup.

yes as soon as the wind is good I'm going to give it a shot . they are heavy was not sure it whould fly with 2 but not to bad so far

Make sure to screen record as Android doesn't save flight logs for distances beyond what you just did.
(Unless DJI fixed their app)
