Pairing the smart controller with Zoom and Pro issues

Do I have to pair my zoom and pro each time I use them on this controller?
I was under the impression that I’d only have to pair them once and the controller would remember the aircraft and I wouldn’t have to ‘pair’ them.
Any thoughts? Am I missing something??

When you change drone, the “two” is different for/because of each drone.., I believe this is normal behavior.

Start the drone you are going to use first then boot up the Smart Contoller. It should pick the correct air craft

Swipe your finger down on the smart controller. Select "Switch Aircraft". Then select the Mavic you're flying.

I found that if I switched between my controller and smart controller, I had to do a pair again, each time I switched.
