So I have a Platinum that got a seawater bath, not mine at the time.
They did everything wrong and let it dry out and I'm almost positive I will need to replace the main board along with at least one motor
It's hard to troubleshoot the rest without actually replacing the main board.
The casing legs and stuff are in great shape and I was able to rescue and restore the gimble control board and gimble assembly n camera all works (checked with standard pro) right now I've got $350 into the Platinum I have no working battery (don't trust it) and no controller just the craft.
Do you think it's worth the cost in parts to save it?

My guess, no. Would you trust it even if you got it to work?
Not worth the risk on a per dollar basis when for a little more $ you can get one that hasn’t had a bath.

My humble opinion is not bother trying to repair. It would be worth a shot if it was fresh water. However with salt water and no immediate care taken, I'm pretty sure you will be looking at corrosion damage in the long run even if it seems fine now.
