Paviland Cave, also know as Goat's Hole Cave is on of the most significant archaeological sites in the UK of the Upper Palaeolithic period. Famed for the discovery of "The Red Lady of Paviland" in 1823 - we now know the remains are of a young man - a representative of the fist modern humans in Britain.
