5-direction obstacle detection is awesome on the P4P! Didn't take long for DJI to make sure the "lesser" Mavic doesn't best the Phantom on the spec sheet.

But since I already have a Mavic Pro en route, I pre-ordered the Inspire 2 instead because I really like the concept of the Spotlight Pro flight mode, plus it will be way smoother footage than any Mavic/Phantom can muster. Lastly, the Inspire 2 has a 67mph!!! top speed. Dang!

After all of the complaints about DJI's policy of charging up front for pre-orders, I was curious to see if they had made any adjustments for the I2. So I placed an I2 pre-order in my cart aaaaand...money please! So, in spite of their promise to change it's the same ol' same ol'. Now watch tempers flare as the promised shipping date comes and goes.

Three things are certain in this life: death, taxes, and broken shipping date promises from DJI.
