Photos Cut Off

Never had this issue before and trying to figure out what the issue could be.

I shot a handful of photos and several of them were cut off and only partial images.
Some were the majority of the photo and a couple were just the bottom 1/8th or so.

Any ideas?

There's a few possibilities likely either the card you're using is faulty or the card reader (if you're using one) is faulty, how are you transferring the photos from the Mavic?

yeah, I guess SD card is most likely issue. But it is brand new, only used a couple times, name brand and bought from reputable source. 4K video shot on it was fine as were most other photos.

I use a microSD card adapter to transfer to laptop.

If you haven't wiped the card I'd try transferring the same corrupted photos directly off the drone by connecting the Mavic to your PC, it's a while since I've done it but I think it should show the internal memory and sd card. If you see the same corruption then the card reader is not the problem but if the photos are good you know it's the card reader.
