Pros and cons to having/using multiple drones...

As I mentioned in another post I have just made the leap from toys to tools. I purchased a M2P but was really wanting a Phantom 4 Pro.

I can get a good P4P for under 700 with 3 batts, and other extras.

Besides my OCD of wanting one complete set of everything, is there any advantage to having multiple drones?

There's an advantage having a couple the same if you are working with them.
You want to have a backup to make sure that a problem doesn't ground you.
Having drones that use the same batteries, chargers, accessories is much better than having non-compatible machines.

Photographically and performance wise, there's not much difference between the two so there's clear advantage with either model.
You could buy the new one if you like but you'd be investing in two non-compatible systems and miss the benefits of duplicating what you've got.
It's your choice.
