If you are one of the unfortunate flyers who has had the misfortune to crash their Mavic:eek:, regardless of the reason, I have a serious question.
When you (hopefully) found your Mavic, what was its attitude?
Was it right side up or was it upside down?
The reason I ask is to try to determine where I should mount my ham radio tracking beacon. Obviously the tracker should be in the best possible position for the signal to reach out to me.
i think this would be valuable information for anyone thinking of using any kind of tracker.
I don't know how to start a Poll so this will have to do.
Thanks for your input.
:)

Just ran mine full steam in sport mode into some tree branches a couple days ago. Hit several branches on the way down trying to fly again and landed on its back with a thud. One cracked prop and still flies just like normal. It's tougher than I expected.

Murphy says that no matter what, your beacon will be on the bottom side when your MP crashed.

What does this beacon look like? If it's mounted underneath will it not get in the way of the cameras and transducers?
